Family Concert Series

The Gulf Coast Symphony’s Galloway Magic Carpet Family Concert Series is a partnership with the Galloway Family, the oldest and most respected automotive organization in Southwest Florida since 1927.

Designed for children of all ages, these FREE one hour concerts are the perfect introduction to the symphony orchestra. Sit on your own individual “magic carpet” and take a journey through sights and sound unique to the symphony. Interactive demonstrations, explanations, and one-on-one interaction with orchestra members are all elements of these exciting and captivating concerts. An instrument petting zoo will be on display before and after each concert. Also, a children’s art exhibition, featuring the works of area students and members of the Lee County Vision & Strength through the Arts program will be on display.


The theme of the 2006-2007 Galloway Magic Carpet Family concerts is SYMPHONY TALES.

All concerts start at 4PM.
