MUSICAL PETTING ZOO

Interactive demonstrations, explanations, and one-on-one interaction with orchestra members are all elements of these exciting and captivating concerts. Children of all ages are invited to talk to the musicians, learn about instruments, and even play a couple of notes. Making concerts, musicians, and instruments accessible to children helps to spark creativity in new ways.

The Gulf Coast Symphony continues to expand our programs to meet our primarily goal, education, by working with as many students and families as possible, both within and outside of the formal concert setting. A priority of the board remains families. Each season, the Gulf Coast Symphony serves hundreds of families, of all ages and demographics with its affordable and free concert programs. We draw families to all our concerts, and especially our Galloway Magic Carpet Family Concert Series. Each year the number of people in Southwest Florida who we touch continues to grow.
