Delve deeper into the world of classical music with the Gulf Coast Symphony’s acclaimed Classical Access Concerts. The first part of each Access Concert program offers a complete immersion into the selected work, examining it from multiple perspectives with Music Director Andrew Kurtz. Explore the work’s context in world history and cultural movements. Find out how it fits into the composer’s body of works, and how the details of the composer’s life influenced its creation. Learn the stories found “inside” the music. Afterward, return with this newly-discovered understanding to hear the work played in its entirety by the Gulf Coast Symphony.
